How to Apply:

1) Submit a letter on department letterhead signed by your Chief Administrative Officer.
In this letter detail

A) The type of dog you want (i.e. German Shepherd, Mal, Lab Bloodhound etc.) The more flexible you are the easier it is to serve you

B) The type of training you seek (i.e. Patrol, Patrol/Detector, Bloodhound etc.)

C) General background on your department, community and need for a K-9 unit.

2) Complete a Program Narrative by answering all questions to the best of your
ability.
